True Vine Community Church is a vibrant community of believers in the gospel of Jesus Christ dedicated towards glorifying God with our worship, equipping the saints of Christ to love their community and raise up new disciples to pursue holiness with their whole lives.

Who We Are
True Vine Community Church (PCA) is a multi-ethnic, local church, located in Cherry Hill, NJ committed to making disciples and loving our neighbors. We welcome people from all backgrounds to explore their questions and doubts about the Christian faith, as we believe it takes time for people to get to know Jesus. Our desire is that you will make new friends, be challenged by Biblical teaching, and find a place where you can truly belong.

Pastor Nate Pugh
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Nate Pugh and his wife of 14 years, Christal, met while attending Wheaton College in Illinois. Nate was in awe of Christal’s gentle personality and Christal was in awe at Nate’s ability to mow the lawn and catch mice living in her cupboards. Eventually they decided this was a good enough match and tied the knot in 2009.
In 2010, God brought them to Philadelphia so that Nate could attend Westminster Seminary and shortly after took them to Santiago, Chile where they worked in the international community serving a local congregation. Eventually, God brought them back to the area where they reconnected with Renewal Presbyterian Church in Center City.
In 2022, they moved to Cherry Hill, NJ in order to begin a new work of planting a church with a group of families from Renewal. By April of 2023, True Vine Community Church was birthed by God’s grace as a church plant out of Renewal Presbyterian Church.
These days, you’ll find Nate either working on building a fruit forest in his yard or at the local little league fields passing on his love for the game of baseball.
